This weekend, theatrical milliner Ani Townsend ran a fantastic fancy fascinator and hat workshop at the Tower of London. Participants started the day with a tour of the Crown Jewels, drawing inspiration from the diamond studied and bejewelled royal crowns.
The participants then went on to spend an enjoyable afternoon creating some amazing hats and head pieces, which can be seen on the HRP Flicker pages!
Participants used wiring, sewing techniques, steaming, and a wide variety of materials, with the expert guidance of Ani, to create some truly wonderful artistic creations!
